BIBLIOPOLIS
HASDEU”*
The idea of innovation audits conducting within a public library that offers public services arised from the fact that in this sector of activity a budget deficit is typically recorded, and innovation audits may suggest some solutions for modernization and more efficient management of resources.
Innovation audits’ methodology is developing during last 30-40 years in American and European regions, but for R. Moldova this concept is brand-new. Moreover, taking into account the fact that there is no official body for „innovation audits” which would promote an unique methodology, conducting such type of audits is considered to be an individual task of each organization.
This study is an attempt of quantitative and qualitative approach of the innovation phenomenon at the Municipal Library „B.P. At various stages, libraries have been involved in projects such as PULMAN, LibEcon, CALIMERA etc. All national regulation documents developed following the library reform were based on documents and standards promoted international and European level. So, studies, articles published in the country were based on documents approved internationally, such as UNESCO School libraries Manifesto (2005); Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities (2003); IFLA Glasgow Declaration on Libraries, Information Services and Intellectual Freedom (2002); IFLA Internet Manifesto (2014) etc. The development projects initiated by community, are most effective when they are based on existing resources and local institutions that people know and trust, such as public libraries. Libraries are strong because they have public support and a minimal funding. Therefore, the different authorities and development agencies should better support services provided by libraries, than invest in new infrastructure. In the situation of the rapid technology development and modernization all library development strategies must start from the idea that the library is no longer the unique promoter of information and electronic connectivity to community members.
editor Copyright (c) 2020 BIBLIOPOLIS 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 57 2 55 66 PARTEA DE MĂREȚIE CUJBIANĂ DINSPRE NECESITATE ȘI ÎNTREG
The study of the poet and literary critic Theodor Pallady presents a comprehensive analysis of monographic The name on the temple of truth: Sergiu Victor Cujbă writer (1875-1937) by dr. Claudia Slutu Grama, poet, librarian. Sergiu Victor Cujbă is the author of lyric poems Homeland and Freedom (1916) and Bessarabian Songs (1919). Lately, the writer, was forgotten by some historians and literary anthologist. Therefore, Mrs C. Slutu Grama started the investigation and reassessment of this personality. The researcher points out, rightly, that “although Cujbă was forced to abandon for a while Bessarabia, the love that has kept for her native land, oppressed peasants never left his heart.”
It is worth mentioning that the scientific investigation on the life and work of Sergiu V. Cujbă was based on traditional literary historical survey, focusing on the rigorous text analysis and a complex approach to his life and work, that represents the “novelty of the research”. It follows therefrom its usefulness for all readers and the „contribution” to a better understanding of the Bessarabian interwar literary phenomenon.
editor Copyright (c) 2020 BIBLIOPOLIS 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 57 2 66 74 DINCOLO ȘI DINCOACE DE TEORIA ȘI PRACTICA INFORMĂRII ȘI DOCUMENTĂRII
The author highlights the problem of existing and dominant mentalities in our profession that could be changed. Without getting into complicated conceptualization, we can say that library publications par excellence belongs to the public sphere. They should problematize mentality, situation, status, image orientation, social recognition and status of the profession and our institutions. It is very interesting to analyse the frequency of reflection and analysis on these issues published on the pages of Roumanian library magazines. It is interesting to study the proportion of debates and explicit confrontations, arguments and polemical ideas, opinions and projects … presented in this professional publications. Further the author talk about the journal recently published by the Central University Library from Cluj Napoca, Romania – Philobiblon. The concept of the journal Philobiblon is defined by the logo Ideas-Books-Society-Readings. The journal Philobiblon contains permanent sections: Studies, Articles, Miscelanea. The author thinks that the library has the role of intermediary coordinator and distributor of the information. There are many ways for social inclusion through libraries, but they require first of all knowledge and specific forms of activity, specific skills and competences necessary in relation with this type of users. Therefore, for librarians working with such users must be organized trainings, workshops, conferences etc.
editor Copyright (c) 2020 BIBLIOPOLIS 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 57 2 93 96 RELAXOTERAPIA PRIN CARTE PENTRU COPIII ȘI TINERII CU CERINȚE EDUCAȚIONALE SPECIALE
The „Maramures” Branch represents an element, a unit of the cultural and educational sphere designed to ensure the continuity of the processus of recovering and development of people with special educational needs.
