Abstract

        The article is about a library communication function. In the last years the communicative function of the information structure was approached in the special literature with a high frequency, but is poor and lack of depth in the treatment of the librarian role in communication. The article lists the changes produced in the society and reflected in library activities. The reality of the modern libraries highlights the set of forms of communication where the librarian is implicated. The article mentions new representative interactive form with a powerful force of communication and underlines the importance of the integration in the information energy flow of the information specialist and notes the importance of the communication education of the librarians.
