CONTRIBUŢIA OAMENILOR DE ŞTIINŢĂ LA FORMAREA CULTURII ŞTIINŢIFICE A SOCIETĂŢII
Abstract
This article provides an analysis of the survey’s results on the involvement of researchers in the science communication process and establishment of scientific culture of society. The study shows that researchers prefer to communicate with the public about science using traditional means: conferences, public lectures, and articles in popular magazines. Young researchers often use new media for science communication. An important role in science communication has different structures: research institutions, museums, libraries and media. The communication of scientific knowledge through mass media contributes to the formation of a scientific culture and the construction of basic scientific knowledge.
